Thought I'd share my girlfriend's latest creation, the MA12 Striker! Same material and general idea as the Mantis she made last year.
/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=18266#p178984The model was downloaded from the internet, polished up to be compatible with the material and way of crafting with Pepakura and printed out the blueprint with the same program. The entire "model" is made from balsa wood with thin cardboard for the finer details, while the bottom plate is extruded polystyrene and a lot of white paint.
This one was sent as a surprise gift to a common friend and UEF fan of ours.
