Over 600 games but i am still rated 300? Worse then a noob?

I have been playing for a while i win some i loose sometimes take out a whole team. about 45% of the games i play i get connection issues and have to leave game wheather that effects my rating i dont know.
What i am trying to ask is how in the **** do i get my rating higher and how does the rating system actuly work, do you go up a rating if you kill a commander or if your team wins ect your score or how much you build or kill?

if your team win your rating should go up.
if your team lose your rating should go down.
if you have a deconnection, your team is most likely to lose and you will lose rating.
number of commander kill doesn't impact. being MVP doesn't impact. you can be shit and stack all game in your favor to get an higher rating than what it should be. You can play with random vs stack, and have a lower rating that what it should be.

i guess, if you can fix connection issue, your rating will go up by a fair margin.

Another important thing is: do you play games that get actually rated? Any unit restrictions, most of the mods (also all featured mods except FAF) will not count into your rating.

Many games are intentionally unrated because people fear to loose rating. But this undermines the actual use of the rating system.

his game count wouldn't increase if he didn't have rated game. Well that's what i assumed.

Yes keyser you are right, when the 600 is shown in FAF.

Dont worry, you are just a victim of faf ridiculous global rating system, which never change in years and will probably never... (self-absorbed council work)
If you want to get a better rating (won't really change your skill) start playing a single map on a single spot if possible with one or 2 friend,
Dont start a game where you think there is underated player or smurf in the other team, avoid to face premaid team, only play low balance % of its in your disfavour (you will loose at worst 1 or 2 point and may win 40 or 50).

I'll stop there, but the best thing to get a better rating is to understund and exploit rating. We got many example of people way overated or underated because they choose their game /friend / spot/ map ...
