So I decided to play the FA solo campaign again

Meh!!

It's complete rubbish. The plot is boring, the campaign is too short and the scripted events are ridiculous, often forcing a replay of the level and turtling up. Very few of the things I learned playing against humans or watching replays were of any value.

there are custom campaigns in the coop tab, but you can also play them alone. some of them are quite challenging

Playing online really helped me in completing the missions.

When i got the game and tried playing the campaign for the first time, it took me roughly 2h/mission?
After learning how to properly eco/reclaim/use units etc in online games, i could finish the missions a lot faster.

So for me playing online had great value in being able to handle them. To the point where they are a little too easy

My first thread in these forums is about help in the campaign missions! It's odd because I played online competitively before on GPGNet when SupCom was new but I seemed to forget all the skills. Man I bought SupCom from Steam in the Christmas sale of 2012! Can't believe it was so long ago! Oh the nostalgia is overwhelming. I was still in my early 20s when I bought it again  First time round my mom bought it for me for my 17th birthday. Oh youth, where did you go

The reason the taunts are so hilarious is because they focused way more on the multiplayer while the single-player campaign was some half-ass effort to say there is a "single-player" mode.

IMO, as far as RTS goes, Starcraft has always had the best campaign-story while Supp Comm the best multiplayer. It would be really killer if the writers for Starcraft and the multi dev team for Supp Comm had babies to make epic product.
