the missile doesnt change army so it goes through shields and isnt shot down by tmd, also you cant redirect it from more than one place, so no loyalist tennis for you!

hmm that is a little weird but also makes lots of sense... like why would it change armies? it's just been redirected. Damn cheeky though.

I'd build loyalists a lot if the reflected in the same arc as the inbound trip. The problem is when the redirect in straight lines they hit terrain

One would assume that after the first loyalist encounter every other faction would put a routine in their shields/tmd that says "if the missile we just shot in that direction is coming back then it's no longer to be considered allied" as a standard

One could suggest that a loyalist has to 'capture' the missile before he can return it. So changing armies wouldn't be all that strange.
