Meeting in the UK All welcome LAN PARTY

I would like to arrange a meeting of any players who are willing to make the venture

Probly summer 2016

With all things considered i realise alot of people are in education and thus dont have much money so il try to keep this as cheap as possible

What to expect.

The lan will require alot of setup and a special place to host which im sure i could source if thats what you guys want. It would make things more complicated in terms of travelling with a PC although thats not a problem for me. The night would consist of setting up the LAN, ordering pizza, drinks, music and of course supcom till early morning. THere would be upfront costs in getting cables and such, also back up equipment incase of a f*** up

Ive also looked up hiring an existing LAN setup, they twisted a bit when i asked if the had supcom, they had no idea what that was, and suggested an alternative list of generic popular shit games. This idea may be better, less stress, more gaming. Again this would require advanced booking payment, amount depending on location.

In more detail

Im looking to hire a place that can house up to 16 people, and to be fair i think central uk to even out the travel time, as i reckon people will come from scotland an London.

My vision, is a 16 person log cabin, so we can all mix and mingle, enjoy the summer heat if needs be, and also a few drinks on site. With the option of going out at a local town. THis is what im going to price on as i think its going to be the most easy going for us all. With the added luxury of other things of course, il let you know once i find exactly what im looking for.

The other games mentioned were FPS's, starcrap and a few other shit games. BUT. your limited on time when hiring and existing place, its not like you can stay there until early morning playing, and plus your monitored by staff, sounds shit tbh. Unless of course you can suggest an alternative i think the log cabin may be best

great idea. the organisators you hire could just set up the place and PCs. I can set up a fully fledged FAF + FA on any Pc in record time.

The problem is, when using another companies property (pc) they tend to not let people install anything, as precaution to protect them. So this rules out that option. The only thing i need to do now, is locate a decent property, i have already spent some time doing so, and nothing really stands out as Ideal so far.
