Single Player/Offline Mode?

Postby lightredfloyd » 08 Jun 2015, 21:27

Hello!

I downloaded FAF earlier today because my vanilla FA wouldn't start up on Steam. I just want to play a singleplayer match in order to familiarize myself with the controls and such. I can't seem to find such a mode on my client, so I was hoping you guys could help me find a way to play this game in singleplayer. Thank you in advance.

you can add ai to your custom game making it the same as a single player match, and if you are the only person in there then it also wont lag due to network issues

more info here, hope this helps.

Just host any game mod, set password if you want and put AI in. You can also try Coom missions, which is vanilla and FA campaign with FAF improvements, you can play it alone ofc.
You need internet connection just to host a game if you play alone, keep in mind that also players like you who play just with AI keeping FAF alive, not just those who prefers to play against other players.

But if you dont have internet connection available you can start FAF from here.

Of course, If your steam FA doesn't work, the faf version may not as well since it relies on your steam install. Hopefully it does
