yeah I even read that back then, but you think I can remember if I read it once? :P its not like its the only thing I read.

And most people wont even look here in the forums. Therefore it should even be featured somewhere in the client itself.

Again, the balance mod is changing almost after every test. At that point, writing a complete change log will take longer than writing the changes themselves.

The change logs will be posted on the wiki when it will turned into 3515.

but most people will better understand testing if they know the changes and wont mistake new changes for possible new bugs or exploits ^^

Or call the balancing bad, because they dont understand the changes.

If I look at the numbers of replays posted on this section, I don't think "people" care much about testing anything.
And I'm sure it's not because of some approximation in the change log thread.

My mod would involve changing view/radar distances and such.

I know, but its hard, because testing balancing only makes sense in a natural game: If you setup an artificial game it is not really helpful. You could do that with a calculator.

But natural games seldomly lead to a situation where you build a Novax, or firebeetles or such.

As concerning novax, I can report: The radar is senseless on small maps (i.e. most maps played <= 20x20km) as you have t3 radar as soon as Novax is coming. I would recommend either increasing sight radius little bit more, or giving it omni radar with decreased radius. its damage is still ridiculous against shields, but it is quite good for example to raid engineers assissting navy facs. but that is quite the only thing. Its also useful for defense, but not as good as other things like fatboy or t3 pd.

You talk of the new stats or the old ones ? The vision radius is already buffed.

new stats. I know its buffed, but its still small. You cannot even see the shields you are shooting on, as shields are only rendered obviously if the generator is in the vision radius. So often I shot on some target only realising 2 shots later its beneath a shield.
