Tier 2&3 main factories for T2,3, ACU, SACU builders.

BlackOps Unleashed made it so the T2 & T3 factories could be produced by the respective tiered builders (T2&3 engineers, ACU with T2&3 engineering modules & SACU).

The FAF version (v10) does not allow that. In FAF the vanilla_FA factories became the HQs, they are basically the same thing (with minor differences).

I request that this feature be added (back) into the mod, since it was originally in it. Or at least make it some kind of setting option so those for or against it could choose whether they want to allow it in their match or not.

Nope. BO was made before the HQ changes were a thing, that's the only reason the mod allowed it. The addition of HQs changed the underlying way FA plays, and BO will respect that. There are good reasons that you cannot build a HQ right off the bat.

Then how about allowing at least the T4 engineering ACUs to make the T2&3 HQs? That's already experimental tier build system, at least that should be possible.

Or are you saying that they can make all that T3, 4, & other fancy stuff but they can't make 2 pre-experimental tier factories?

Yeah it's not great logic but that's the precedent. Like T1 ACU can make a land factory but not a mantis.
