Will FAF ever be compatible with winxp sp2?
Or is this a permanent change?

Urghs, I removed that yesterday because SP2 and below are, like, extremely outdated and I was suspecting it to conflict with some libraries (which it didn't). I couldn't believe anyone still had it. :)

It's really, really, really recommended to upgrade to SP3 by now. WinXP itself is 11 years old, and past the end of its support period. I honestly thought Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance require SP3.

Anyway I'll put the support back in tonight.
I waited ten years for Supreme Commander (1997-2007)
and have not a single day felt disappointed with it!

SP2 is the minimal required by FA, and by extension FAF (but until the next release, SP3 is required by FAF).

Won't be a bad idea to update, even if it's not for FAF.

SP2 support will be back tonight about 20:00, sorry kids. :)
