If you read that thread, the entire thread, you'll understand what I mean. Really annoys me that patch 3612 has done this.

Not all of the BO mods are on the FAF Lobby to run. Also if I wanted to play through the lobby, I'd play multiplayer. Not always do I want to do that. Also file path location defeats the point of my solid state drive. Also there is no save feature with multiplayer. When I play alone, I want to play at my own pace, and continue later when I want.

Nothing was done with 3612. You have a config problem. Scd mods should NOT be place in the mod folder !
I need logs, but it's not a direct issue with FAF.

So before jumping to conclusions and big words, explain your problem in a correct way.

Well, when BlackOps (non-faf) is placed in the "...Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance\gamedata" file structure, the only BO mod to appear is "BlackOps Adv Command Units", version 3.2. None of the others show up. This is for *.scd

When all of the BlackOps mods (all 6 of them) are extracted (files inside *.scd archive are extracted) into the file structure "C:\Users\UserName\Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\mods", all BO mods appear and work.

This tells me that there seems to be something wrong with the *.scd in the gamedata folder for patch version 3612. Was working fine with 3611.

Finished editing.

I finished testing all I can test with this problem. I hope ze_pilot can look into it and there is enough info for him to work with. ;_;

First, you have to understand that FAF is a MULTIPLAYER lobby.

It's not meant to be used for local play. You have your standard installation for that. We don't test locally, and we don't support any problem related to a local play.

The problem is caused by our blacklist mechanism : Any mod that can conflict with FAF is ignored when mounting it.

That function had a bug, causing some legit .scd to not be loaded.

This is fixed now.

While I was testing, I found it also affected multiplayer too, the in-game mod manager. But if it's now fixed, no problem. Thanks much! :D

Morality : Don't assume we've changed something because something doesn't work.

If something doesn't work, it's called a bug. You must report it.

When change something, the dev team make an announce (Thygrrr, Raging_Squirrel or me).
If you read an information that not come from the dev team, ignore it, it's most probably not true.
