Losing FAF connectivity (without apparently losing it)

Im testing it..no disconnects so far since 5 minutes, i'll have it running for a while and post here if i get disconnects. If i don't post, it's fine.

But i don't have this FAF disconnects. I'd see them in xchat or mirc, but there are none.

Yesterday, also at peak hour, I couldn't finish any livereplay I tried to watch. It would inevitably freeze after 15 or more minutes, and then FAF told me i lost connection and asked me to "terminate process" (FA), but I still could see the chat window acting behind the disconnection screen.

I also had lots of connection drops from the server, plus a bunch of intentional restarts.

Maybe they were all the same. I'll keep an eye on it; reviving dead connections is a goal for 0.7 or 0.8 (it's actually rather tricky to pull off cleanly)

The question is : Why do they drop first ? It seems that Mirc / Xchat / mibbit are unaffected, so I think we can rule out a IRC server issue.

Maybe the lobby miss some IRC Pong ?
