Dynamic Sound Volume Inverted

Postby realatlas » 17 Aug 2014, 00:01

Hello Guys,

i got a weird sound problem. You all love the great zoom in FA and if you think about the sound volume, you will notice, that the FX volume will increase when zooming in and decrease when zooming out. Thats how it has to be.

In my case, its the other way round. When I am zooming in, the FX sound is getting more silent. When I am zooming out, the FX sound is getting louder. And when i watch a replay , I hear ALL THE FUCKING FX SOUND OF THE WHOLE MAP IN A UNCOMFORTABLE VOLUME! Its just like "brrrhgggghhhcchchchchbrrr" all the time. Every single weapon, every explosion, its so annyoing.

And again - when zooming in - I only hear the FX sound of that area, but much more silent.

This happened first today, when I updated from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1! I had to reinstall my Realtek HD Audio driver to hear sound again.

Now, does anybody have any idea what can I do before i will reinstall FA?
Any logs needed? Maybe dxdiag or something?

Cheers, Atlas.

As you have probably heard by now there are some bugs in win 8.1, so just go back to 8.0.

If someone got the same problem: switching to realtek sound to stereo solved it.
