Faf not starting

Faf not starting

I have just tried getting onto Faf, but it initially told me that I did not have a unique user id, so wouldn't let me on.
Following a restart, it simply says "Establishing connection and checking for updates" while maxing out one of my cores. Its been like this for 10 minutes now- any help would be appreciated!

Try again. We're restarting the server because of some uniqueID problems, among other things.
I waited ten years for Supreme Commander (1997-2007)
and have not a single day felt disappointed with it!
