Problems on faf with steam

Well since the new release of faf steam's fa is now upto no good if you patch recently and have steam issues 99.9% of the problems are caused by a \. i wish this was a joke.

What problems are there,

No game Sound
Lack of offical maps showing,
Blackscreen when loading,
Blackscreen with :: INTRANSIT ::

How to fix.
in faf you need to repoint back to your steam install and remove this \.
You can do this by going to Options in faf lobby ~ settings ~ Game path

Good news next faf patch this is fixed

This is already obsolete, because fixed in the new release. Please check other threads and twitter account before giving any advice.
