File "util\__init__.pyc", line 81, in loadVersionNumber
  File "win32api.pyc", line 12, in <module>
File "win32api.pyc", line 10, in __load
ImportError: DLL load failed: Die angegebene Prozedur wurde nicht gefunden.

WinXP SP3 32bit

Seems that you miss a dll or two.
Should be on NET Frameworks 2.0 or 3.0.

I have all .NET Frameworks installed. Is FALobby checking the dlls via the PATH Variable?

Oh-oh. :) Hope I didn't lock out all the WinXP users.

It could be this DLL call is not available before vista. I'll investigate.

That fa_path.lua is c:\ProgramData\FAForever\.

If it's not there, please post the LOG you will find here : c:\ProgramData\FAForever\logs\

The fa_path.lua contains the path to your FA installation.

It should be created when you host/join a game. If it's not the case, try to set your path again. (Settings -> Game Path..)

Sometimes the fa_path.lua (at least for paul) it wasn't correctly written. It's interesting because it is written at the exact moment where ForgedAlliance.exe is launched.

After a while it starts working but I dont know why. It could also that something updated the OLD binFAF in the OLD lobby and they're using a shortcut there (should never explain why the 0.5.0.x lobby cant launch the game, though).

kataolis_paul was able to join my game after a few tries. Maybe I need to ensure filesystem is synced (could be a flushing problem in the part that writes the file).

Lobby not starting for me either, nothing at all happens when I try to run it. I don't even have a C:\programdata folder at all.

Also using WinXP SP3 here.

Jupp! Same for me.

No error message either when running it in commandshell. Process appears for a millisec in task manager and then just disseapears.

We are working on a fix for XP.

But upgrading to seven will solve the issue :)
