FA not connecting on internal LAN

Postby Calabris » 12 Feb 2012, 06:58

Good day,
I have been playing Forged alliance with my sons for quite some time without a probelm. I used to have a Dlink DGL-4500 Router and we had no issues. I recently upgraded to a WNDR3700v3 from Netgear. I also upgraded my PC but do not have problems running FA for skirmish or campaign games.

The issue is I am able to create a game for Multiplayer LAN, but when we go to start the game, we are stuck on waiting for other players. it just sits there, then I get that the other player is not responding and give me the option to kick. This happens when either of us host the game. Any ideas why this would be happening? I have checked internal firewalls and setup port forwarding, but ports should not be blocking for internal traffic. Any ideas?

Thanks
Calabris

Try to host a game and join from the other PC.

Then post "fa.log" file from both pc. This file should be in the FAF Lobby directory.
