PIlot i know this is probly worng but i rembered this,
"Problem : FA-FAF lobby is proposing more options for units cap (125, 375, 625 and 875). That is not supported in GPGNET, and so it can crash/hang the lobby on GPGNET if the last game you played on FAF used over 500 as units cap limit.
Solution : Rehost a game on FAF, change the unit cap to 500, and rehost on GPGNET. Or only play on FAF "

`UpdateUnitCap'

Could that be related?

+ having this is funny as faf and gpgnet use complelty different bin folders and exe. and SupComDataPath.lua.

Unless u linked your gpgnet to faf's fa install folder if so then well. its a LMAO kinda think.

The unit cap is actually saved in the prefs file, so it's the only thing they have in common, so it can be that indeed. And it's surely it.

I thought it wasn't that because it's clearly stated that it can be a problem and should be avoided :)

I will never be fixed, because I can't go over GPG, push 3610 there and update GPGNET.

Check the value in the prefs file (the one in userdatas, I'm not on windows here), and check the value about the limit number. That's all I can do to help you.
