Installed FA Lobby but can't host or join?

There are a few things you can try out 1st.

Download the following file ~ http://users.edpnet.be/zepilot/FAFinstaller.exe pleace in the area below,

C:\Forged Alliance Forever - Lobby

aka save it then run the fafinstaller.exe point it to your FA install dir

D:\Games\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance

or it's default is

C:\Program Files\THQ\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance

. Please do not go any further. Once it has says it been updated please relog(exit the program and reopen) then try to host a game.

Make sure that you have a folder named "binFAF" if not please do the Following.

In the lobby you need to make sure that the program is pointed to the exe of forged alliance.

Then run a program called fainstaller.exe either from the start menu - Forged Alliance Forever - Lobby or from the install directory (C:\Forged Alliance Forever - Lobby).

Now it wil ask you to browse to the location u have installed Forged Alliance so for me it is

or it's default is

C:\Program Files\THQ\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance

. Please do not go any further.

click ok it will then start downloading teh files needed.

After it is done you should have a folder in the fa folder called "binFAF". if so you are ready to play online.
