Core Maximizer and FAF

Good evening all,
I have a question : when playing skirmish against several AI, the game suffers major slowdown after 10mn (worse than when I was using retail FA with Sorian AI).
I'm used to running FAF with Core Maximizer.
Do you advise using Core Maximizer, or would there be compatibility issues?
