Always have to do Captcha on login at this forum

Apologies if this is being posted in the wrong place - I find every single time i login to this forum (despite using the correct username and password) I'll be told I have done too many login attempts and have to re-enter user, password and do a captcha. It's a pain in the bum. Is this just happening to me?

I think it was enabled on purpose to attempt to stiffle the influx of forum bots, like this one: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=19273

I guess they could disable it again..?
