Cannot login to launcher

Hi

I haven't played in a long time. I can login to the website with my details but when i try to login to the launcher nothing happens except that warning symbol, see attached.

But I can login to the website and have successfully linked my steam account.

When i tried to register a forum account using my usual email it rejected it saying I'm a spammer or my dynamic IP has been (it's just a gmail addresss) so I have to use a hotmail one instead. Not sure if that is related.
