Can't join to existing game

I can’t join any existing game in FAF_client!
Disabling antivirus and firewall does not help.
I play offline in Steam.

For some reason the client couldn't find a port to run the adapter on.
This is probably somehow related to the operating system / antivirus / network setup preventing it from opening sockets.

It was the contents of the hosts file.
I deleted one line and the problem was solved!
