DFC 0.10.7 crashes after start

After starting the DFC client, the initial splash screen shows up, then the "load" screen very shortly, then the application crashes / ends itself.
Happened for the first time after installing all the most recent updates on Win10 (while 1903 worked before; if any, the most recent updates for September 19 must cause it).
Reinstall didn't help.

Try disabling all monitoring/oc software that supports "on screen display". I have MSI Afterburner running and got the same problem after the last windows 10 update. After disabling MSI AB the launcher worked again.
Edit: maybe try a newer (beta) version. Also: I could start afterburner after FAF client loaded succesfully but haven't tried running the game.
