0 ping to many players

i seem to have trouble connecting with other users i did open the ports on my router and still same issue. I'm running windows 7 and have mot had the same issue with the steam multiplayer match maker i also play subcomm 2 thru steam with no issue. i have enabled the Use UPnP feature bit so far no success can anyone offer advice that may solve my issues?

You have a port issue, it may be closed by your router or firewall.

something is blocking the ports or your routing is not correct. Please check that windows firewall/antivirus/any firewall is correctly configured. It may also have something to do with the type of network topography you are using. Subnets and more exotic network configurations are also difficult so forward and route.

If after you have checked your firewalls and anti virus, and its still not working, could you give us a little more information on your internet connection, including routers, modems......

i have disabled firewall i'm using an ADSL connection thru Century link provider in Florida. modem is an ZyXEL 660-HW im directly connected thru the modem by ethernet cable. im still experiencing the 0 ping to many players and cannot connect to normal friends. I'm using the steam downloaded version of the game

when you reconnect (rejoin the game) does it resolve the issue? It's common to have to rejoin a lobby several times before all connections are made. Practically every game, multiple people cannot get connections on their first try, but eventually it works (if their networking is setup correctly). This leads me to suspect more than just connectivity is at play.

reconnecting isnt working for me i have disabled fire wall and open ports with port forwarding i'm really frustrated cause i love this rts and i want to jump into the community.

i got a new modem and it solved my issues. I guess my old modem was quite dated
