I can not change my username

I want to change my username, but I can not. I am trying there is more than six months. I am the original owner of the intended username, but it was in another account, witch was disabled there is a lot of time.

Please, some admin member can do that?

go to faforever.com and log in with your "old" user with the name you want
rename that user to something else
wait (i think you can't use a username that used to be in use for a month or so)
rename the account you use to what what you want it to

I already had did it. It does not works. When I try to change the username, I receive this message:

"Error! The username 'phcarvalhome' can only be claimed by the original owner within 6 months after it has been freed."

well i guess you shouldn't have made multiple accounts then
