New client cannot update to new game patches (0.10.6)

Hi, I find that the new client (0.10.6) cannot download new game patches correctly (have to use the old client). The downloads are very very slow (30 to 60 mins) and I get a corrupt ForgedAlliance.exe after the update. Where the old client downloads and installs the update in 2 mins. I have tried this on multiple computers and internet connections.

Is this a known issue?

No, this is the first time I hear this. Given the fact, that both clients just download the files from our http server I do not see how this could be different except for overly attached AntiVirus programs or simply bad luck and an unstable wifi connection. AntiVirus is known to cause issues, but there is nothing we can do about it. (You could try to turn it off and see if it helps)

Tried it with AntiVirus disabled. Connection is lan so no wifi. Old client downloads no problem.
I have had this issue for a long time now. Is there any difference between the two clients when they download a new game patch?
The are no issues with client updates, just game patches.
