Unable to download any maps from vault legacy client v0.18.4

Today none of the maps I have randomly tried to download are not downloadable get the following message box come up.

Map not downloadable
This map was not found in the vault (or is broken).
You need to get from somewhere else in order to use it.

Can this please be fixed was fine a few days ago what has changed?

The legacy client is no longer supported by FAF. For broken features please refer to the official client.

I have the same problem. What is the new version of the client ? vo.18.4 is barely a week old.

The legacy client map download was working.
Something has been changed in the background very recently to prevent downloads.
I feel this is deliberate to push people on the the supported version which in its current state is unworkable.
Until the Downlords Client v.0.10.6 beta is fixed to allow online play without all the issues that come up access to the maps on the legacy client should be restored.
Refer to my other post on all the issues i have had that are plagued with Downlords beta version 0.10.6
I have no issues if any seldom appear on the legacy client
Please do something about this until there is a proper working alternative client.

There is a working alternative client. If you have any problem with that one please fill a bug report, unless you do that the bug won't be fixed.

And no, as far as I'm aware there is no deliberate push for the disabling the python client, if there were we would just block the client from connecting. We're just not going to waste time on trying to find out what's wrong.
This client is no longer supported for a reason.

Please use the official client if you want any support from FAF.

Thx Geosearchef at least we know where we stand, it's not going to be fixed.

I did try the new client not with any success at all, tried uninstalling when i had problems which left me with nothing working at all. Had to power off...
I'm sure everyone working hard on this and i'll probably give it two weeks and try again.

I have to say though, i did NOT find it straight forward or easy, had to research where to even start! I did try to resolve the issues but ended up with no FAF at all.

What resolution does the new client boot into? it just seemed low resolution, and when run, game was in an unsupported resolution by my monitor? (2560x1440)

I will try again if a few weeks. Thanks for all the hard work.

I can confirm the error, but the cause must be in the client.

@Hully We cannot fix your problems if you don"t tell us what they are. What didn't work? What happened? Please post logs aswell.

It's barely 16 days old so what official client are you talking about ?

Btw no problem downloading mods from the vault, it is just maps.
