Ladder hosting stuck [SOLVED]

Today I tried to play a ladder game but got stuck at "Setting up automatch" for about 10 minutes before I cancelled.
My second attempt searched for an opponent for about 15 min.

I'm at my uni's dorm so I can't change the router option and the client tells me "proxy connection" with an orange colour. I, however, played a team game already at this location some time ago.

Is this a connectivity issue or is ladder waiting time simply that long? (I haven't played a ladder game before so I'm 0 rated, I mostly play with friends trough lan).

Nevermind, I managed to find a game. I guess I just dropped connection in the first game and got unlucky with the waiting times for the second. Solved.

It is generally fine to just abort connection when you wait for 1 min or more, your opponent usually did it at that point. The wait time depends on your time zone and your rating. Most of the players are at 0-1000 rating so you have better chances of finding game quickly in somewhere inbetween these numbers.

You should also try enabling "Ranked 1v1 availible" notification setting, so it would inform you when someone of your skill level is currently looking for a game and you can join him instantly but that might be annoying.
