Steam Linking Issue [SOLVED]

Hello, i noticed about 2 weeks ago that my account needed linking,it told me it was already linked to my steam account the name was correct, i checked and made sure it was as it has how I've been able to play in the past.
However i came back today and it was informing me that i need to link it. So i went and tried just to make sure, it gave me the same error i got when i tried to link last time stating it is already linked to my user name. So right no im at a loss as what the issue is, im not very techy. I did change my steam username about a year or so ago but it wasnt a massive change. I only have 1 account on steam and FaF

FaF Username: KingWill84 (The name KingWill is already taken)
Steam Username: KingWill (was KingWill84 before change)
Forum Username: KingWill

Just to make clear i wish to know if there is an issue and if not to just unlink the account and i will try relinking and see if it solves the issue.

the acc faf acc "KingWill" was unlinked yesterday
i just forgot to make a post in your thread
you can link your "regular" acc now
