Cannot link account to Steam

Hi,
First, you have to know I do not want Steam.
Second, I bought supcom before Steam even exist. Anyway, I am refusing to buy something from Steam gain software.
Third, based on some posts I read from moderators about this topics, I really think FAF is applying the presumption of culpability which is consternating. This is how we kill humanity; so continue this way and you will remove ''forever'' from your name.

So after creating an account on FAF, then on Steam (so much burden for nothing!) I have this message: The Steam account needs to have a copy of Forged Alliance. My forged Alliance copy is not a Steam one.

How to play using faf? Simple as that!

you can use your retail dvd key to get a free copy of fa on steam

btw don't create multiple accs

Every account created past the 15th of october 2018 require to own the game on steam to play.
If you have a retail copy, you can try to activate the key on steam - it proved to work for some users.
If not, you can find a cheap copy online for most of time, less than 5 bucks.
This check is in place for both legal reasons and to prevent double accounts. There is no way around it for the moment.
