Major Lag Issues

I am able to connect to the lobby and my ping is fine with connecting to other players, but once the game hits about the two minute mark.... My ping from the start of the game which is normally about 70 spikes to 400-500. As a result, I am normally forced to leave.

I have all 4 ports fowarded which include 6112, 9013, and 30150

I reset my router, I have all other computers shut down and do not download anything during gameplay.

It randomly spikes with games of more than 2 ppl or more. It works fine when playing by myself.

Please help, this is highly frustrating

What router do you have? Have you googled if other people have had problems playing supcom with it?

And no, people have not run into the same issue I have

lagspikes in supcom are often caused by a lack of uploadspeed

pls check your uploadspeed and post the results here, also try to end Programms like Skype, Teamspeak or any other downloading or uploding applications

my download speed is 10.03 megabytes per second, my upload is 1.36 megabytes per second

This is with everything closed, all other comps shut off, this is the best I will get at any point throughout the day as well...

i can only offer you the standard Troubleshooting:

check your CPU load (taskamanager)
check your connection during playing games
try if downloads have an effect on the spike (does it become higher)
try on another PC
try through another Router (maybe your neighbour's or friend's one)
if you use wireless-lan try to use a wireconnection
reinstall FAF (but cant imagine this will help)
