Blank Screen - Can't get rid of/fix it!

I've come across an issue where whenever I change the graphics settings, the game simply gives you a blank screen until you reset your computer, which for some reason used to work before. Changing the graphics settings in the mod, however, was a different story. I literally uninstalled both the base game and the mod. I even reset my computer a few times. After all that hell, I somehow couldn't get rid of the blank screen, almost as if I fucked something up, which I really didn't. How do I fix this? I want to play the game and if I can't see anything, that's a problem for me. Please help!

try deleting ur game prefs file. u can find it in faf menus

Tried that out just now and of course it doesn't work either. Lovely.
