Unique ID [SOLVED]

I tried to log in to FAF and I am getting rejected due to the message that says "Failed to calculate your unique." The message told me to report this to the tech support forum. So, I am doing this.

How can I log in with my account?

+1 this, and since McAfee removed the ability to manually trust "FAF-UID.exe" logging in seems impossible.

Ok, I shant remove my tired mistake in case others have same issue... suffice to say McAfee does allow you to exclude this file from real time scanning All good, back to sleep with you xD

@SliQ the problem is your antivirus
McAfee probably changed the way they determine programs to be dangerous and thus the uid check can't be executed.

imo you might as well remove McAfee since Microsoft already provides a built in system to protect your machine from yourself (windows defender)

Tried logging into FAF, gave me a "Failed to calculate your unique ID" error (part of smurf prevention). Uninstalled McAfee... didnt work

check if the faf-uid.exe is still in the client install directory in the lib folder
maybe mcafee deleted it and you have to reinstall the client to get it again
