Error during update for forged alliance forever

Just ran FA Forever Lobby on my desktop

says there is update

download and start installing update

round about when the progress bar looks about 70% blue and the status says removing applications

I get this error

Why were you removing it in the first place ?

I WOULD NEVER REMOVE IT!!

I was trying to patch it. I played the game round about a week ago, ran it today and told me there was a patch for the lobby ran it and this happens

Try some install cleaner. Check the forum, someone had that problem before.
