Client crash downloading mods

Hey hope anyone can help me with this please.

Problem as titled, go to vault, choose mod, begin download, proceeding as normal then partway through download comes windows error message 'Forged Alliance Forever - Lobby client has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution becomes available'. Obviously that wont happen, so here I am, help appreciated!

Theres no more information I can give about it, like it doesn't offer me any error report or log file so unless its hiding one somewhere im unaware of and could be directed to share?

So yeah, hope the community has some idea about this. That's all thanks for reading.

logs are located in "C:\ProgramData\FAForever\logs" but if the client crashes then there is a decent chance that no logs will be written (since the client writes the log when shutting down)
