Hello!
When i migrated to my new MacBook Pro, i started to face exception access violation, after 5-10 mins in each game.
I already tryed to google that problem and look on this forum, none of proposed solutions didn't helped me. I already disabled UAC and DEP for SC FA, i checked this game without any mod or suspicious programm running along with this game, i still get those crashes.
There is my logs in zip archive

I hope what its will be enough for you to solve this problem, if its not, ask me and i will provide additional information on request.

P.S. My laptop is running on Windows 10, installed via Bootcamp. I dont use MacOs to launch FAF.

Hello Festour,

All 3 crashdumps have different errors:
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at address 0x0230d261
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at address 0x0170d267
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at address 0x01dcd261

This means we have 3 different errors here.

It looks like you are using the COOP MOD for the game.
Please try to start the game in normal mode and see if you still get those errors.

I always get crashed in any kind of games, sometimes in 5-10 minutes, sometimes later.

This would be a good start:

XACT: Invalid arg


The game only like stareo audio settings. I guess you are running 5.1, 7.1 ore something ?
Try to set your speaker AND soundcard to stereomode.

Also you could simply start the game with the parameter /nosound to see if the sound crashes the game.

Please make a desktop-shortcut from the file:

C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\ForgedAlliance.exe


Then open the shortcut (rightklick->properties) and edit the commandline.
Add "/nosound" at the end. Should looke like this:

I'm back there, had to give my laptop for repair.
I tested it with this option, and looks what it doesnt crash anymore, but i didnt tested it in multiplayer. Do you know how add that parameter in FAForever launcher?

How do you make the /nosound option through FAF?
