In-Game Mex and Hydrocarbon markers invisible

I've had this problem for the last several months or so. Essentially when I'm in a game I can see markers for buildings and units, and I can see pings on the map, as well as projectile markers. I can see everything, BUT I can't see the markers for mex locations or hydrocarbon locations. This makes the game considerably more difficult for me, since I either have to have memorized where the points are, or I have to zoom in really close to the ground and fly around to find them. I've checked all of the options in the game and none helped. I even reinstalled FAF twice and it hasn't fixed this issue. What should I do? I'd like to actually see things again.

tl;dr: I cannot see mex points or hydrocarbon points when zoomed out on the map. Help?

please read the red text above and post logs - without them it's very hard to tell what your issue is exactly

try running the game without ui mods and see if that helps (assuming you have some enabled usually)
