I keep getting this error when trying to update to the newest version - i am the administrator and have done a few searches and cant work out why

full message:

error writing to file c:zprogram files etc etc msvcrt.dll. verify you have access to that directory

dont think i can do a log as the old version is partially uninstalled each time i try to run the update

Please go to your directory "c:zprogram files etc etc" and delete the folder "etc"

Then try again.

I cant install new version of FAF because of it

Hello FrodoTheSpaceRan,

welcome to FAForever!

Without client.log i only can guess;
You have no permission to write/overwrite the files.

Delete all folders related to FAF and try the installation again.

No, I solved this by reactivating my Win10
