My screen blinks in black ingame

Hi everybody

I have an annoying problem. When I am playing Forged Alliance (or when I am in the lobby waiting for the game to start), my screen blinks in black. It is like i see the game 5s, then the screen goes all black for half a second, then I see again the game for ~5s, everything is black for half a second etc.

The frequency of this varies, at the end of games sometimes it can be really unplayable.

Does anyone has an idea to solve it ?

I didn't had this bug before, in fact I just played again the game since 2 weeks and I have this bug. The last time I played the game was like 8 month ago and everything was fine.

Does anyone has an idea of how to solve it ?

don't remember anyone else having this issue.
can only suggest to try to play around with graphix settings

1) try windowed / fullscreen
2) lower graphics setting, and most important to turn off extra stuff, like anti-aliasing and vertical sync
3) try to reset your settings (by deleting game.prefs file) (you can just move it and game will create another one, cause then you can move it back, you would probably want to do that, casue it contains hotkeys and templates and lots of shit)
4) maybe try update video drivers... but not sure how that should help xD

In fact I fully reinstalled the game and the bug didn't go away so I don't think that deleting game.prefs will do anything .

I already tried to lower the graphics and it doesn't change anything. I will try windowed mode, I didn't think about that, I will tell you if it works!

Well, it doesn't do the bug when I am in windowed, but then I can't move the screen ingame by passing the mouse on the borders (I am not able to change my view of the battlefield if you want).

So : Does anyone else has a solution for my problem, or is there a way to be able in windowed mode to activate the fact that when the mouse goes to the border, the view of the battlefield translates ?

i have 2 screen right now and also do streaming, so i am better with having windowed mode so game does not minimise when i click outside of it... that would mean that i have a solution to your problem... BUT , i have disabled screen paning by moveing mouse to corner of screen long time ago. also i increased zoom speed, so i just use only zoom to move around map. (just becasue i like it that way, and i had few missclicks cause of moveing mouse close to edges of screen casued this camera moveing)
Also windowed mode had some bugs for me, and i had to use borderless windowed to fix them (wrong cursor position). Borderless windowed mode is better anyway (at least in case of 2 not big screens). i used Borderless gamin program for that

In fact I have solved my problem : I disabled GSYNC in my nvidia panel.

It appears that i am not the only one having this bug : with some nvidia cards the GSYNC option can make a black blinking of the screen in fullscreen so you need to disable it.
