Sound only works once

I start each game with sound, but as it continues the sounds no longer play for anything. Music, notifications, units selections all play once if i'm lucky and thats it. I tried turning all sound functions off and on again but that didn't do anything. Not sure what else to do here. Playing without sound is a major pain!

Hi,
I'm having this problem too. It only started a day or two ago. Have reinstalled faf but this hasn't fixed the problem. Did you ever find out what was wrong?

me too. happened a few days ago. I think there was a windows update. havent tried to fix yet
