Forged Alliance Patch help.

Hi, I am having trouble applying any of the patches FAF has released to my single player game. If I understand correctly I am to launch Forged Alliance from a new .exe in the bin folder of the Forged Alliance Forever file located at C:\Programs Files (x86)\Forged Alliance Forever but the problem is I can not find this "bin" folder. I have uninstalled and reinstalled without any luck. I have also looked in the bin folder located in my standard Steam install of Forged Alliance which has what I assume to be the base install of the game not the updated version. If this is the updated version than great if not than... well I don't know. Any help/ insight would be great.

The bin folder is the one of your FA install. Not FAF.

After launching the Supreme Commander Forged Alliance application located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Bin it seems to not have the patch applied, it seems to still be on the last official patch released by gpg. I have tested this by looking at patch 3615 changelog and noticing it changed the mass cost for upgrading a t2 naval factory to a t3 one from 3150 to 5150. But in game it says it it is still 3150 to upgrade, is their anything extra I needed to download or apply besides the standard faf install, maybe somewhere I can directly download the patch, maybe their is an option I forgot to select, any help would be great.

You need to launch the game through FAF. It's an online multiplayer platform, we don't support offline.

Sorry I must have been confused, so this patch doesn't affect skirmishes, skirmishes will only use the latest official gpg patch, not your patches?

The patch works for FAF. The original install is untouched.

We don't want people to use our work (patchs,...) outside FAF.

Okay thank you for your time, but have you ever considered releasing the patch for skirmishes, it would be great for testing and what not. Also I assume that would be the only way to use the patch for a LAN game considering LAN games are not run through FAF.

While it's possible, it's not supported. You have to find out how do to it by yourself.

The bin folder no longer seems to be located here in 3616 - anyone know where it's gone?

Edit - Never mind, it reappeared when I tried to host a game
