Can't click user inferface on client

I'm having an issue using the client where it appears it run as normal but I'm unable to actuate any commands on any buttons or other user interface. The material still is activatable if it is an interface I can reach by pressing tab to reach it, but as the vast majority are not reachable that way the client is unusable.

I've had problems similar to this with java clients such as Xmage and others but I don't think this even runs on Java.

Are there any fixes somebody can throw my way to try to handle this?
