Full re-install for map maker and Replay Manager.

Postby Crayfish » 22 May 2012, 18:36

Hi guys.
I still have my original Supcom install from 2008. That I have had no troubles with and has worked fine for me with FAF. A couple of years ago, to save HD space, I deleted allot of the campaign movie files etc, but this never affected my multiplayer / skirmish.

Just recently (after installing FAF) I wanted to watch some replays on jls17's fantastic Replay Manager and none of my replays showed up. Is this something to do with FAF?
Also, I really want to start making the maps I've designed on paper, but when I try to open the map editor I get a:
'wxmsw24u-vs80.dll not found' error. Is this caused by me deleting some of the single player files?

Anyway, I think a full re-install is finaly in order. Can anyone please tell me anything I need to know about now doing a fresh re-install for FAF, Replay Manager and Map editor so they all work?
Thanks!

you need to put the map editor files in the vanilla folder and you must update vanilla to latest version before you can use it. Making maps also requires a lot of time. I have experimented a bit and made nothing good. It does take ages.
