UEF ACU Drone bug

Since the latest patch, or for as far as I am aware, there has been an issue occuring with the toggle drone build, it seems that if you toggle the rebuilding of the drones to off, the entire upgrade disappears whenever the drones are destroyed, it seems this only occurs when the drones are landed on the acu however.

if I find the exact conditions I will post them, untill then, here's the replay test of this happening:

OK so I've investigated this one a bit further, went back through my files.

1: When the drone is toggled to AutoRebuild = false, it is intended for the upgrade to be removed. After all, why have a dead, useless upgrade in the slot doing nothing? It's just cleaner this way.

2: This should, and does, occur even when the drone is not landed on the ACU.

Everything is working as intended, and this behaviour has not changed since 3650.

thank you for your response, just seems a tad odd in this patch, if you dont wanna lose alot of resources when inties are patrolling you.

then again, Im not sure how much the drone rebuilding costs compared to the upgrade itself

huh, but if you keep upgraide you can rebuild drone and move at the same time, if upgraide is removed acu have to stand still while making new drone

You can't rebuild the drone... You never could. In the old days, pre-3650, drone death == upgrade gone. I added the auto-rebuild feature to rebuild the drone for cheap if it got shot down, while on the move. That's a new thing! That's why it defaults to auto-rebuild on.
