Install issues

Hello sorry to bother I am hoping this is simple something over looked.

Trying to install FAF, no matter what directory I tell it to install it in, it will go in same directory regardless. No folder into one of my storage drives, also happens to be where my default download directory is.

However the main issue is I get an error when opening the exe. I have tried admin and NO admin, same result. I can't even get client open.

Also the link for the FAF client from wiki is broken or not there. I got from http://www.faforever.com/downloads/#.VuCyhZwrLZI

Please help I wanna play da game! lol

yes, that message can be a result of runing FAF as admin, also, your desktop shortcut can be with option "run as administrator", you should double check that...

if after reinstalling the same error is being displayer, try to do a clean up, check this topic here : http://forums.faforever.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11701

another good source for the install file of FAF is directly from github https://github.com/FAForever/client/releases

hope it gets fixed
