Game crash right after start

Postby Raxtyn » 14 Dec 2015, 18:25

Hey guys,

The issue I have been having lately is right after someone hits the start game button I dc. Sometimes the game works sometimes it doesn't. After every game I get that trouble connecting box as well. I have had a few instances where I couldn't get into a lobby but maybe 3 tops. I have tried reinstalling, running as an admin with compatibility and I have port-forwarded my router. I have also looked through the forums and haven't found a problem similar to mine. It would be a huge help if someone could solve this issue.
Here are the logs:

Please enable on FAF client :

Options --> Settings --> Save Game logs

then attach the forever.log and game.log to this post. They are located at
Code: Select all
C:\ProgramData\FAForever\logs

Also, your port might be forward, but your Antivirus or Firewall can block it :)

Hey so I am still having the issue after allowing faf through my firewall. I can't seem to submit the logs either. It keeps giving me an error when i try to attach the other logs.

Ok, so if you PORT FORWARD, however, you still have Upnp request, you can ONLY have ONE of those, so, if you did:
on the router, reserve IP for the computer you have faf installed
on the tourter, port forwarded UDP port 6112 to the reserved ip or computer name(this works without up reservation)

then go to FAF client, Options-> Settings -> Game Port -> untick "Use UPNP"

otherwise, just delete port forward, and activate Upnp setting on router

...
Btw, just for troubleshooting, go to FAF client, Options -> Voice -> Mumble Options -> untick "Enable Mumble connector"

try again :) , it should clean up the log a bit, if the problem persists, please attach the log again and I'll give a better look

Ok so it happened again and here are all the logs. I have only port UDP 6112 open for this computer and uPNP is off. The programs are all allowed through the firewall as well. For whatever reason my game logs are 11MB i will paste some snippets of where i think the problem starts some in the middle and some at the end. gameLogs is the copied info from the debugger I was able to get it out from behind the white screen. I just updated java after taking a look at the logs.

those are full of :

"Error running OnFrame script in CScriptObject at 101a62c0"

you can, exit FAF, delete all files from
Code: Select all
C:\ProgramData\FAForever\logs
and then run faf again, it will generate a clean .log file.

about the error, no idea, similiar posts here on tech support forum sugest its a problem wich solution is a "work in progress"

To anyone who has been having the same issue as I have I.E. The game crashes as soon as you are trying to load into the game. The loading screen doesn't display try turning off any other displays you are running. For whatever reason Sup com does not start up if I have the second display on hit windows + p and select projector only.
