Game lobby issues

When I get into my game lobby on supreme commander,
the screen for my maps, is blank, { no matter which map i pick} and even when i ignore that and try to start a game i cant place or set up any other players,
I can load a game just fine,

sidenote, my FA+nomads still works, but when i add the mods i want it doesnt,

tell us some more details:
- which mods do you use?
- have you tried hosting via the default FAF patch?
- have you tried setting the map in the host game panel in FAF, when hosting a game?
