Multiple Computers porting?

Postby VIsion305 » 13 Apr 2012, 06:23

Hey guys. I have 3 computers on a network. Im trying to figure out how to port this correctly.
right now I have all 3 computers on static IPs

the main one is ending in 50

I have the following ports in my E4200 linksys router
6112 with the main IP (.50)
9103 with the main IP (.50) (It shows that in the wiki so I added it)
and then in range port I have 30350 to 30351 with the main IP (.50)

then I have computer 2
ported for 6113 with it's corresponding IP
and computer 3 at 6114 with it's corresponding IP

This is not working.
When trying to connect to one of my games the computers stay trying to connect for a long time with no success. Any help?

I've just pushed a little fix for that. Can you try again ?

You need port forwarding. You can try to enable the UPnP feature to see if it can automatically create the port forwarding for you.

If not, you need to set it up in your router so all traffic on the 6112, 6113, 6114, etc. is sent to the PC with that corresponding IP.
I waited ten years for Supreme Commander (1997-2007)
and have not a single day felt disappointed with it!

Ports: 9103, 30350-30351 I believe were only needed with the GPGnet client. I have closed those ports on my router since GPG net no longer exists.
