Freeze on game start -.-

Strange thing started happening yesterday.

On the final rush map, once the start button is press and the game loads the map 'waiting for other players', it appears to me that nothing has spawned and i hear the defeated sound play. Then it freezes. Minimizing and maximizing just results in a black screen.
I've PM others in game and they say my ACU does spawn.

I've tried clearing all the data files using the client. I also reinstalled the mod/map and FAF+Supcom. And even went browsing round remaining folder locations to clear up. But i have not found a fix.

All other maps work find, but i enjoy survival and Final rush seems one of the better. Anyone know of a solution?

Include logs please.

I dont think there are any logs. Its doesn't crash. It just seems to stop rendering the game...

I'm experiencing the same issues. I have been running the same Steam install of FA and FAF for months with no issues. It seems to have started happening to me after patch 3644, however, no maps work for me. It doesn't matter which one I pick, it will visually freeze right after the game starts, but I can still hear sound (I can hear the menu open when I hit f10 even) so it's not a full on crash.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: So I tried this on my laptop and I got the same result. I decided to wipe out FAF and FA and start from scratch and that did the trick! working perfectly on both machines now.
