1st place team will receive $25 USD EACH, along with 2v2 champion avatars!
2nd place will receive a Faction face avatar.
3rd place will receive a Faction avatar.
This will be a two weekend tournament:
Starting Saturday March 14th at 5:00 PM (17:00) GMT and ending Sunday March 22nd
The goal will be to have all the knockouts done the first Saturday, with finals occurring 1 week later. If there are schedule conflicts for a team that advances, they will have the option to play their finals round(s) during the week, all to be finished by the 22nd.
The knockout stage will be Swiss style, with each team playing about 4 games total, (This may change based on participation). From there, the TD’s will decide which teams qualify for advancement.
As has been previously done, in the swiss stage it'll be 2 points per win , and one point for surviving acus. The losing team gains 1 point for a killed acu, if they managed it.
If you have any question about this, I'm going to explain it before we start.
Finals will be completely different. Each round of finals will be a BO3. The first round will be a 2v2, the second will be a 1v1 between the Joe’s and the third one will be between the Pro’s. The third round won’t happen if a team wins both of the first two games. This part of the tourney will be Single Elimination
Any draws will be a rematch, and TD’s decide the course of action in the event of a disconnect. Default settings with RKS explosions allowed with mutual consent, other mods with mutual consent and TD approval will also be allowed.
Classifications:
3200 is the maximum total rating between the two players - Exceptions can be made by TD’s
Classification is dependant on the higher of your two ratings.
(1700 Global & 1200 ladder = 1700)
Joe’s are 800-1400
Pro’s are 1600+
Anyone caught using a smurf and/or doing a point giveaway to be classified as a Joe will be disqualified.

To enter, just leave you and your partners igns, your rating (round to the nearest hundred if you ladder rating is higher), and your team name, along with going to the tournaments tab in FAF and signing up. Anyone who wants to participate but does not have a partner can leave their name and something about needing a partner and I’ll match people together.
